Basics of Web Videos, Video Production, Marketing Videos
When looking for a video for your website or business you need to ask yourself a few key questions. Who is my target audience? You need to know their demographics and it’s not too complicated to do. Generally, when someone comes to me and asks to do a video, the first thing I ask is “Who is your customer”. I need to know the audience, the age group, is it mostly males, females, or both? Then I go into the industry, products and services offered.
Videos can be about anything, it can be informative, entertaining, influential and so on. Do you want to describe the product and service you offer in the video? Would you rather it just be informational about your company as a whole? Good thing about MSV is we take all that and include it in the information gathering stage when creating a video. It’s important to note we do not paint everyone blue. Each video requires full detail no matter how complex the production process is. We make sure to tackle every angle and figure out which video is best for your website and business. It’s easy to just sit there an take orders from a customer but we want to do more than that, we want to offer our experience for what can be the best possible video at the best price. We are customers too and value trust and honesty in every purchase.
So before even acquiring for a video, I suggest you do some research on your own customers. Understand their likes and dislikes.
